Smoking Linked to Half Of Bladder Cancer Cases In Women.

Smoking has been shown to increase the risk of many forms of cancer in both men and women.  A new study looking at a very large group of men and women in the AARP-NIH Diet and Health Study group has found that about 50% of bladder cancers in women are linked to smoking.  This result is higher than some previous estimates but is the same percentage as in men.
