CancerQuest Partners

Our partners make much of our work possible. The efforts of our colleagues around the world allow us to get valuable health information to a much larger, more diverse audience. Work done by our global partners allows us to present CancerQuest in different languages and the efforts of other organizations ensure the widest distribution of our products.  The following list describes organizations that have had significant input into the design and development of the CancerQuest educational program.

Atlanta

CancerQuest is housed at Emory University. Many organizations at Emory have helped to shape the project. These include
The Center for Science Education and the Faculty Science Council, both of Emory College.

Great input has also come from faculty/staff/patients of the Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University and the Dept. of Hematology and Medical Oncology in the Emory University School of Medicine.

Grady Memorial Hospital
Our colleagues at Grady Memorial Hospital have helped to guide the development of culturally appropriate educational materials in both Spanish and English.

Georgia

The Georgia Cancer Coalition and Georgia CORE have been working with CancerQuest for several years to develop educational materials for both clinicians and patients. These organizations are committed to education, reducing healthcare disparities and supporting clinical and basic research.

U.S.

The National Health Museum, has partnered with CancerQuest, making us their primary cancer education resource.  The NHM will be constructing a physical museum in Atlanta and has created an online educational resource - Access Excellence through which CancerQuest materials will be promoted.
